Rampart Casino has appointed Joanne Farwell as bingo manager in preparation for its new bingo room, opening this spring. Farwell will be responsible for all operations of the casino’s latest addition, including safeguarding assets, hiring personnel, reviewing reports, growing and sustaining business, preparing budgets, customer service and more.
Previously, Farwell assisted with the opening of bingo halls at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and The Hotel Nevada & Gambling Hall. She has also spent the last eight years as a bingo supervisor at South Point Hotel & Casino where her duties included sales, customer service, employee supervision, money handling and trouble shooting, among others.
Farwell received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix.
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Rampart Casino broke ground on the bingo room on Dec. 20, furthering the resort’s goal of meeting players’ demand for an evolving gaming lineup. The 300-capacity attraction, located adjacent to Rampart Casino’s buffet, will offer players top-of-the-line technology with a FortuNet, Inc. BingoStar system and non-smoking section.
