LVFH to launch social casino games in Mexico

Online gaming software provider Las Vegas From Home (LVFH) has signed its second Latin American deal of recent months with an agreement to supply its mobile gaming platform to a Mexican telecoms company via German digital entertainment enabler Mondia Media.

The agreement will see LVFH create a new social gaming client utilizing its HTML5 gaming platform, offering a selection of poker and casino games for use on all mobile devices.

The games will be made available to consumers through the exclusive app marketplaces managed by Mondia Media, for a one-time fee, with the companies expecting to open additional monetization channels such as subscription and in-app purchases in the coming months.

LVFH chief executive Jake Kalpakian commented: «We’re delighted to partner with Mondia Media for this exciting opportunity, and be able to expand our product reach through their extensive digital distribution network.

«Latin America is a key strategic region for us, and this partnership not only allows us to reach over 70% of mobile subscribers in Mexico, but also the prospects of exploring additional strategic and mutually beneficial opportunities with both Mondia Media and its partners in the telecommunication industry.»

Kalpakian added that the company is also in negotiations with a number of hotel chains in Mexico to licence its real-money software, which is expected to «contribute material amounts to revenue in 2014 and accelerate our growth».

Mondia Media general director Adrian Janon said he believes the LVFH offering «will generate a lot of interests with our customers» due to its cross-platform feature and rich gameplay experience.
