Add NBC poker commentator Mike Sexton to the list of prominent voices wondering why it is taking so long to approve online gaming.
“Internet poker should be legalized, regulated and taxed,” Sexton said prior to the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship held at Caesars Palace this past weekend. “Businesses want to be taxed on it, players want to play it. It’s a service that people enjoy and a violation of their freedom if they don’t play. It’s insane to me that you can’t play a $20 tourney in your own house.”
Sexton said he has no doubt online poker will return.
