Elegant poker at The Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (LVH)

The Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (LVH) announced its poker room moved to a new location last week. Formerly located on the casino floor, it is now found in the former high limit room just in front of the LVH Theater.
The elegantly-appointed room offers a more secluded area for players to enjoy and features five tables with space to add more as needed. Open Monday through Saturday at noon and Sunday at 8 a.m., the poker room features complimentary beverage service and poker lessons upon request.
“We are excited to see that the poker room has proven to be such a success here at the LVH,” said Jim Roets, senior vice president of gaming operations. “We believe that poker will continue its strong growth trajectory, and this new area will allow us to support that by providing players with a more comfortable environment in which to play. Our team has been working very hard to provide a high level of customer service that has resulted in repeat business.”
A tournament schedule will be announced soon, following the move. In addition, the poker room currently offers several promotions, including the Progressive Four Flush Frenzy, $2,500 Freeroll Tournament and Pro Football Pick ‘Em.
Special poker room rates are available on advance bookings starting at $39 per night Sunday-Thursday and $49 per night Friday and Saturday. Six hours of live rated poker play per day is required to qualify for the these rates. For qualification details, call the poker room at 702-732-5223.
