SkillOnNet has formed a partnership that will see the software specialist provide NetEnt slots on its digital casino platform. The scope of the multi-year agreement will see SkillOnNet receive distribution rights to NetEnt’s entire catalogue of online slot games. After thorough negotiations, the deal was struck on 20 November.
NetEnt Games a Must-have
SkillOnNet spokesman Andy Andrew explained that the deal would prove pivotal in the developer’s attempt to increase the scale of its B2B operations in the online gambling industry. He also underlined that it would be the first of many more, as others are currently being planned. According to Andrew, NetEnt games are “a must-have on any casino” and that NetEnt has “an impressive track record of appealing to a wide range of customers in a number of territories”. No timeline was laid out for the launch of the games.
Diversity Vital to Casinos
This deal underlines the current hot trend of diversification, whereby casino sites are striving to provide games from multiple software developers. Casino gamers benefit greatly from a multi-developer approach, as they can access a much larger selection of games.
Current SkillOnNet Partners
At present, SkillOnNet has more than 50 proprietary table games and slots. Current software partners include a number of rising stars on the software development front, including Amaya, NextGen Gaming, and WMS. White label casinos partnered with SkillOnNet will now have the chance to further diversify their content with NetEnt slot games. Players of EUcasino, Play Million, and SlotsMagic could all benefit.
Popular NetEnt Slots
Headquartered in Sweden, NetEnt has expanded its global locations since laying down roots in 1996. Also situated in Gibraltar, Malta, and the Ukraine, the gambling software provider has developed some of the most-played slots in the online casino industry. After receiving major entertainment licenses, NetEnt has developed Aliens, Scarface, and the recently launched South Park: Reel Chaos.
