Penn. table games see spike in monthly revenue

Table games at Pennsylvania’s casinos are seeing an increase in revenue compared to a year ago.
The state Gaming Control Board said the games brought in nearly $64 million last month, up 14 percent from November 2012.
The agency says the record monthly total is $67.4 million, which was collected in March.
The most table games money is being generated by Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, followed by Parx in Bensalem and SugarHouse in Philadelphia.
Table games produced $9.1 million in taxes last month.
Total revenue from table games and slots last month was nearly $254 million, a 2.2 percent increase from a year earlier.
