New and exciting games emerge from recent G2E

Last week I reviewed several of the new games being offered by IGT (International Game Technology). This week I’ll be reviewing some of the new games being offered this coming year by WMS, Bally’s, Aristocrat, Aruze, and Konami.
Aruze Gaming
The company is famous for its “Paradise Fishing” and sister game “Amazon Fishing,” both popular community player games. You may also recognize their games by the familiar “clack, clack, clack” sounds throughout the casino symbolic of “Feature, Feature, Feature,” when you hit a bonus round on games such as Ultra Stack Lion, Dragon, Panda, Bison, Diamond and others.
Coming to the casino floors this year will be new versions of these games with improved cabinetry and graphics plus added progressives along with other features. “Players’ Party,” is also new, featuring a six-game setup that is packed with bonus features, video wheels, and a five-level progressive jackpot.
On the main reels, you will find symbols depicting roulette wheels, dice, bingo balls and blackjack hands. When one of these symbols forms a bonus trigger for any player on the bank, the game launches into a communal bonus for the entire bank – instead of fishing with the other players, you’ll be playing craps, blackjack, roulette or bingo with the other players on the bank. Fun!
Bally Technologies
The company introduced “Friends” at this year’s show, from the wildly popular TV series. It was only a matter of time before this game was sure to happen!
The game features a concave screen with great graphics and clips from the TV series along with a linked progressive jackpot meter. There are seven different possible bonus rounds. We’ll see this game hit the Las Vegas area casinos in January.
Also new slots from Bally’s are TV show hits “Duck Dynasty” (hitting floors around March or April) and the classic “Wonder Woman” we should be seeing out anytime now.
Aristocrat
New from Aristocrat this year, the famous gamemaker of “Buffalo,” we’ll be seeing “Game of Thrones,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Sons of Anarchy,” and “Ted,” from the teddy bear movie!
Konami
Konami Gaming is popular on the casino floors with games like “China Shores,” “Mystery Shores” and with their “Xtra Rewards” game series under a variety of different titles.
New this year and already available on many casino floors is “SeleXtion,” housing 9 of their most popular and new games with an easy touch screen that changes rapidly to go between the various games and denominations; the fastest game changer among all I’ve seen to date, which makes playing it really fun.
If you’re not doing well on one game you can switch quickly to eight other games available and keep playing, barely missing a button push in between!
WMS
The most popular game has to be WMS’s “Monopoly” series with new versions of that game coming out soon. Many slot players have also been enjoying “Willy Wonka,” introduced in 2013, and “Lord of the Rings” in prior years.
This year, look for “Elton John,” “Austin Powers,” a new “Elvis” slot with a bonus wheel and popular Elvis songs, “The Flintstones,” with a bonus wheel and progressives, “Mad Men” (from the TV hit show), a new version of “Wizard of Oz” and “Gremlins,” from the movie, featuring 5 levels of progressive jackpots.
