Mark Selby, LVH poker manager, raises LVH’s perks for WSOP

Mark Selby, LVH poker room manager, reported to us this week that they will be offering a room rate special to World Series of Poker employees.
Using group code ZWSOP guests will be entitled to rates of $42 plus tax per night. This year’s rate is inclusive of the resort fee whereas last year the guests had to pay extra for the amenities.
Technically it is for employees (dealers, staff, etc.) of the WSOP but they are opening the offer this year to also include participants and people who are in town. Last year, before the LVH had its own poker room, it was only open to dealers who dealt on the WSOP circuit.
Boulder Station: Poker room manager Steve D., said there will be free lessons every day except Wednesdays at 2 p.m. Guests can play with promo chips and he’ll teach both Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha. Lessons last about an hour and are open to those learning the ropes, or wanting to hone their craft further.
