Macau considering electronic games cap

Government officials in Macau are considering the possibility of putting a cap on the number of electronic games being employed in the world’s largest gaming area.
Macau Secretary for the Economy and Finance, Francis Tam, told lawmakers over the weekend that the government is researching the implications of limiting slot machines because electronic gaming equipment had developed quickly.
Also, Tam said, the government would like to close all slot machine parlors outside casino premises. It’s in the casinos, especially the VIP rooms, where Macau generates most of its gambling revenue.
