LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman from Marion County, Indiana has filed a lawsuit against the Horseshoe Casino in southern Indiana claiming she was bitten by bed bugs while she was a guest in its hotel.
According to the Complaint, the plaintiff, Jerri Pollard, was asleep in one of the hotel’s guest rooms on Aug. 16, 2012, when she «was awakened by the sensation of stinging or burning on her right arm and something crawling across her face.»
That’s when the lawsuit states Pollard discovered «insects crawling across her pillow.»
Pollard says she was bitten several times.
She’s suing for damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, pain, inconvenience and mental anguish.
