LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Horseshoe Hotel and Casino has issued a response to a lawsuit filed relating to bed bugs.
A Marion County woman is suing the southern Indiana hotel on claims she was overtaken by bed bugs during her stay in August.
Jerri Pollard said she was awakened by the sensation of stinging and burning on her right arm and something crawling on her face.
She said she found insects crawling on her bed.
According to a statement released by Horseshoe officials, the hotel is committed to service and cleanliness because the satisfaction, health and safety of employees and guests are important. They had no comment on pending litigation.
