Gaming Commission agrees to delay vote one week

MASSACHUSETTS — Gov. Deval Patrick has requested a delay in the vote for a Boston-area casino licence on behalf of the Mayor, The Boston Herald reported.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted to support the request for a week extension, the report said.

Originally the commission was due to rule on the decision of which proposal would be awarded the licence today, according to the Boston Herald report.
