Fiesta Henderson throwbacks for 15th anniversary

Fiesta Henderson will celebrate 15 years of providing entertainment to this thriving community by hosting events and activities this weekend.
The highlight of the ceremony will be Henderson Mayor Andy A. Hafen presenting a proclamation to the property this Saturday at 11 a.m. Throughout its anniversary week, Fiesta Henderson will also hold giveaways and offer unbeatable “throwback” specials.
Through this Sunday, guests can enjoy “Throwback” food and drink specials including: $.98 Fiesta Ritas offering a hint of raspberry; $1.98 Fiesta Coolers, a mango-based drink with a hit of hot chili; $1.98 Birthday Cake drinks; $19.98 Surf & Turf at Fuego with a grilled ribeye and half pound of snow crab legs; $19.98 dinner for two at Amigo’s with queso dip and chips, one fajita entrée, one two-item combo and one dessert of choice.
This Thursday locals can celebrate the anniversary with free cake and champagne throughout the property from 3-8 p.m. There will also be “iPad2 Frenzy” from 3-8 p.m. Two winners will be selected randomly per hour for all those who are actively playing with their Boarding Pass rewards cards on slot machines during the time of giveaways.
The property continues to evolve. The new high limit area, scheduled to open in February, will offer a new façade, a more intimate space and personalized service. Fiesta Henderson is also getting ready for a new restaurant, Café Fiesta, which is scheduled to open in March and offer a wide variety of scratch-made signature dishes for less than $10 – all day, every day.
El Cortez
The very popular jacket promotion is back at the downtown casino resort. Throughout February, Club Cortez players winning a jackpot of $200 or more on a slot machine, a $200 or more jackpot on a video poker five-cent or lower denomination machine, a $300 or more jackpot on a video poker 10-cent or higher denomination machine or a $200 or more jackpot on live keno will receive a complimentary El Cortez zipper fleece jacket.

Players can take home a gorgeous, crystal-laden, Fabergé-style jeweled box for Valentine’s Day from the Casuarina Casino this Thursday-Sunday. Earn 500 Casuarina Club points on any one day and it’s yours (you keep your points).

Stratosphere
