The Delaware Senate voted last week 14-5 to provide a $10 million bailout for the state’s three casinos.
The bill, which has the support of Gov. Jack Markell, now goes to the House. It calls for the state to help pay vendor costs for slot machines, a cost that currently is borne by the casino operators.
If approved by the House, the operational changes will take effect in July, 2015.
