ALBANY, N.Y. — A decision on where casinos will be built in New York is still a few weeks away.
According to a letter from the Gaming Facility Location Board Chairman, a decision will likely be made at the location board’s next meeting, which has yet to be scheduled.
All signs point to that meeting possibly being sometime between early and mid December.
Four proposals will be selected for three areas, the Capital Region, the Southern Tier, and the Catskills.
