$10,000 poker tournament at Santa Fe Station

Santa Fe Station in the northwest part of the valley is hosting a $10,000 Poker Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 23.
It’s a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool with a $125 buy-in, giving tournament players a $10,000 starting stack. Play will be 30-minute levels. For more details, tournament times and the payout schedule visit the Santa Fe poker room or call them at 702-658-4900.
Santa Fe also offers daily no limit Texas Hold’em tournaments with a $45 buy-in. All buy-ins receive 4,000 in tournament chips; $5 dealer bonus gets you 2,000 more chips. There is one $20 re-buy until the first break (4,000 chips). Check with the poker room for times and more details.
The poker room has 14 tables, is open 24 hours a day and is smoke free.
On the Strip, the Excalibur is an MGM Resorts International property and utilizes the M life card in its 10-table poker room. An M life card is required to register for all tournaments. The poker room is located near the race and sports book and close to self parking.
The room offers $1 per hour in comps. The accumulated comps can be used for poker room dining as well as nearly every full service food establishment within the Excalibur resort or can travel with you to other MGM properties.
Known for its laid back atmosphere, they offer a variety of low level tournaments and various promotions, including a “Spin the Wheel” for Aces cracked and high hands, and a bad beat jackpot. The current Excalibur daily poker tournament schedule is as follows:

9 a.m. – $35 buy-in 5,000 starting chips • 100/200 starting blinds Blinds increase every 15 minutes.
1 p.m. – $50 buy-in 5,000 starting chips • 100/200 starting blinds Blinds increase every 15 minutes.
5 p.m. – $50 buy-in 5,000 starting chips • 100/200 starting blinds Blinds increase every 15 minutes.
8 p.m. – $50 buy-in (Sunday-Friday) 5,000 starting chips • 100/200 starting blinds Blinds increase every 15 minutes.
Re-entries must be done before the break. Maximum one re-entry per player, per tournament.
A “Strip Poker” Tournament is held every Saturday at 9 a.m. for a $50 buy-in with a guaranteed $500 first place prize. Players get 5,000 starting chips with 100/200 starting blinds. Blinds increase every 15 minutes. Re-entries must be done before the break.
